 Meet Our Pastors Dr. Doug Deul, Senior Pastor Dr. Deuel was raised in Missouri, the son of a Baptist preacher. He earned a B.A. from William Jewell College, a Master of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and received his Doctor of Theology from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Doug attended an honors program at Oxford University in England for his junior year of college. He studied under Dr. Fred Craddock for part of his doctoral work, and has served Disciples churches since his ordination in 1987. Casey Mathews, Associate Pastor for Education and Youth  Casey was born and raised in Richardson, Texas, where she first became a huge fan of church community, camps and conferences, the Disciples of Christ, and mission work. She earned her B.A. from TCU in 2004 and her Master of Divinity from Brite Divinity School in 2009. She was ordained in January 2010 at Central Christian Church in Frisco, where she served as a Minister for over three years. Casey's faith journey and ministry have been overwhelmingly shaped by God's radical, inclusive love for ALL people, which drives her to share this grace and love through both words and actions, and through education, mission, worship, and relationship. |
